I am Satarupa Das and I teach Economics in the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus of Montgomery College in Maryland. Currently I live in Ashburn, VA with my husband and my two children. I am originally from Calcutta, India. I did my Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics in Delhi, India. I received my Ph.D. from Indiana University, Bloomington. My research was on International Trade.

I have taught various courses of Economics including courses at  graduate and undergraduate level.  My teaching experience includes both traditional and online  teaching at places such as Indiana University Bloomington, Western Carolina University, Northern Virginia Community College and Strayer University. Courses include introductory and intermediate Micro, Macro, International Trade and Managerial Economics. I enjoy teaching very much and I welcome you to take one of my classes.
